Hiring – Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative, you are never bored. You arrive to work and attend a quick team meeting before the calls start coming in from people who need your help. You answer calls, listen attentively to those customers who rely ono your expertise to guide them with what they need. There is always a Team Leader close at hand in case you encounter a question you cannot answer. Once the incoming calls slow down you manage you make follow-up calls to those who need them. You leave work knowing that you have helped customers increase their family’s safety and comfort.
- Work with a team
You stay in communication with your supervisor and other team members to ensure each order is completed efficiently and effectively. You are part of the Gilmore team and act as a team player, pitching in when needed so that the customer is taken care of.
- Develop your expertise
As a Customer Service Representative, you listen carefully to each customer and use that information to guide them to find the best solution for their family and home. You constantly build your expertise so that you can provide the best guidance because you understand that our installers rely on your accuracy.
- Master the telephone
You are comfortable using the phone taking inbound and outbound calls to existing customers (no cold calling). You listen attentively to your customers and can speak clearly and confidently. You can handle an upset customer on one call and then happily greet the next caller.
- Multi-task and Attention to detail
You can enter information while a customer is speaking without allowing it to distract you. And, careful with the information that you enter understanding that other team members will be relying on that information.
You are clean, neat, and well-groomed in appearance and can interact with others clearly.
You can work full-time hours but those hours might be day-time, evening, and/or weekend shifts.
