Several customers have reported receiving phone calls from someone falsely claiming to represent Gilmore. These callers often say things like:

- “We’re installing a free machine to regulate outdoor temperatures.”
- “We need to verify your personal or medical information.”
These calls come from 1-800-200-0696, a number crafted to closely mimic our legitimate line, 1-800-200-9696.
Important: These calls are not from Gilmore Heating, Air & Plumbing. If you receive a suspicious call, do not share any personal information. Hang up immediately and call us directly at (530) 344-4515 .
How to Spot a Home Services Scam

2. High-Pressure Sales Tactics
Scammers often try to rush you into deciding on the spot.

3. Requests for Personal or Medical Information
No licensed home services provider should ever ask for your Social Security number, banking details, or health history.

4. Caller ID Spoofing
